This heartwarming drama focuses on Youichi, the young successor of a 100-year-old-diner, and the process of his growing up through the love, confl icts over the diner with his father, the bonds he has with his family, and a love/hate relationship with his hometown. The popular comedy duo, "Oriental Radio" make an excellent acting debut in lead roles. Tsugaru also stars up and coming actress Saki Fukuda, whom takes up the role as the main heroine. Two time winner of the Japanese Academy Prize "Excellent Director Award", Kazuki Omori brings to the big screen Akio Morisawa's bestselling novel of the same name. Theme song by THE BOOM.
