Congratulations for opening the 3rd Okinawa International Movie Festival. I am much honored to participate as a jury this year. My late grandmother – when she was alive – had taught me how to attain happiness; “Share your joy and make many people happy by doing what you love to do. That will automatically make you happy.” I feel the warmth of the teachings of my grandmother in the words “Laugh & Peace”. I am sincerely grateful to be able to bring you laugh, love and peace from my favorite island through Okinawa International Movie Festival.
