This is the fi lm adaptation of the best selling novel of the same name by Hiro Arikawa. Strangers ride the same train by chance but their lives overlap and effect each other in the limited space ? this is a story of a small but heartwarming miracle that happens during the 15 minute ride on a local train. With the full cooperation of the real Hankyu Dentestu and localities, a real train was used on the all-Kansai location. Japan Academy Prizewinning Miki Nakatani, the now established actress Erika Toda, the leading actress in Japanese film industry Nobuko Miyamoto and others have joined to create this film. The screenplay of the charming novel was written by Yoshikazu Okada, known for "Ima, Aini yukimasu". Also , this is the directorial debut of Yoshishige Miyake, known for Kusanagi Tsuyoshi' s "Boku..." TV series.
